You’re going to think I’m crazy but I have a new found love for burpees.
3: What is your least favorite WOD/ Movement?
Running! I hate running
4: What were you doing before CrossFit? How did you hear about CrossFit and/ CrossFit Northlake?
Before this I was doing group fitness classes at the gym. One day I was online looking for new work out ideas and I came across your website and decided to call.
5: What other sports or activities do you participate in as a family besides CrossFit?
Me personally, none! But my daughter cheers ☺
6: How many times per week do you CrossFit?
I’m in the box 3-4 times a week.
7: What is your athletic background?
I was never an athletic person – I’m as girly as they get.
8: Give us some insight as to your thoughts after your first workout at CrossFit Northlake.
The first day I tried it out I was thinking to myself omg this is either going to kill me or make me stronger and healthier. My slogan was #DeathToBootcamp
9: Do you have any special or favorite CrossFit Northlake memories/moments?
I have so many I can’t mention one. Everyone there is so supportive, we are like one big blended family. I must say I really appreciate Amy she has been my #1 cheerleader from day 1.
10: What advice would you give to a newbie or someone just joining CrossFit Northlake?
The first few times will be tough, does it get easier no not really but it works. Stick with it and you would grow to love it.
11: What is your eating style?4>
I started eating paleo style a few months ago and I really like it.
12: What kind of results have you seen since starting at CrossFit Northlake?
Since starting I have lost about 10-15 pounds and lots of inches. I’m leaner, healthier and I have a lot more energy. My body can do things I never thought it could and my stamina is amazing☺
13. What do you do for a living?
I’m a mom first and I work for Edward Jones Investments as a BOA.
14: What drive you to be an active family?
My children, I have to be able to keep up with my 2 cubs.
